My Zoo Meets The Nashville Zoo

Part One

Zoos can be tricky things. As an animal lover, I would much rather have animals run free in the wild, instead of visiting a prison, watching the inmates pace in their cells. However I understand that zoos help educate children and adults and therefore can inspire us all.  My prayers were graciously answered last weekend when we took our boys to the Nashville Zoo.

timmone Meerkats seem like little people.

tiger A Bengal Tiger relaxing in the shade watching the people.

bees Interesting and yet my throat began to swell at just the sight of these little beasts of burden.


bigsnake Uh…b-b-big Anaconda.


turtle An active little turtle putting on a show just for my boys.

You’re pictures are stunning, you know that? My favorite is the tiger. Wish I could of gone with you guys, would of loved seeing the boys faces as they saw the animals….
